Programme Control
All tutors operate under the direct supervision of the Directors of The Photo School.
The tutor forwards to The Photo School Programme Manager (and, where appropriate, the Gateway supervisor), in real time, all e-mail correspondence to and from each student, including weekly photographic tasks and module assignments. This will provide a guarantee of stability, continuity and moderation for the programme.
Moderation of work of each tutor, and for each assignment, has been carried out in the first year of operation by staff from The Photo School. After the first year of operation, each tutor will be moderated twice annually, with work from two assessments assessed, and the tutor feedback assessed. Any new tutors to the programme will be moderated for each assessment in their first year of involvement.
For Gateway Online, the final resolution and supervision of the industry professional contact remains the responsibility of Gateway supervisor.
