Certificate in Advanced Photography
The Whitireia Certificate in Advanced Photography (delivered by The Photo School) is designed to progress and accelerate the student’s understanding of the photographic process. It has particular emphasis on digital photography and photographic manipulation, studio photography, alternative processing and illustrative techniques as they relate to commercial or personal applications.
This is a 20 week, full-time programme involving tutor contact and self-directed learning, with a two week mid-semester break. (total programme duration 22 weeks).
Entry Requirements:
A completed Certificate in Practical Photography, or equivalent educational training or photographic experience is required to enter the Advanced Photography programme.
Boutique photographic education delivered on the Kapiti Coast Wellington New Zealand. Certificate programmes in practical and advanced photography. The Photo School encourages students to take photos for their industry during their studies to develop artistically and conceptually. Seminars are delivered at secondary schools, colleges and a diploma course is in development at tertiary level, for further study. NZQA unit standards assessment is used.
